[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As the leaves start to change, we often are tempted to change up our look. It’s a great time to experiment with a new wardrobe and new hairstyles, but why not celebrate our natural beauty with makeup looks that are classic and fresh looking?

It’s also a great time to get (re)educated on makeup application, like I did with makeup artist Jenni Shaw. See some of the tips she shared with me below and some of my favorite products to recreate the looks.

It’s key to take extra care of our skin as we approach weather changes to avoid dry skin – facial oils and moisturizers are an important base for youthful skin. Try swapping out your foundation for a CC cream that will celebrate your skin’s natural texture with the added benefits of SPF and anti-aging serum. Peach-toned blush and highlighters are universally flattering and will give you a dewy finish without being overpowering. Use a blush that is a darker shade to line under your cheekbones and blend down for a soft contour. Finish the look with your favorite mascara, an eye liner applied as close to the lash as possible and blended down to soften, and a lip color from one of my favorites like NARS or Bite Beauty and you’re good to go!
