Never Too Old for Summer Camp!

Some people might think of rustic cabins and roasting marshmallows when they think of camping, but for a lot of New Yorkers, we spend our summer weekends decamping outside of the city. Escaping the city’s humidity could mean shucking oysters and sipping rosé in the Hamptons. Or maybe your style is more suited for beachy days on the Jersey Shore or boating days on the lakes of Upstate New York. Wherever you’re headed, you’ll want to look the part!

If you’re cooling off in the Hamptons, you’ll fit in by going for a look that’s equal parts chic and laidback. You’ll be spending the majority of your days on the beach if the Jersey Shore is your destination. Add a bucket hat and a pair of candy-colored sunglasses to keep the look playful and yourself UV-protected. Don’t forget sunscreen!

Heading upstate? Chances are you’ll be enjoying days boating on the lake and nights lounging with friends and family. A printed romper will be comfortable without losing any style points. Throw on a silky headband to keep your hair out of your face while you’re cruising on the boat. Finish the look with your most comfortable sandals and you’ll be all set.
