Many words and phrases have taken on new meanings and become part of our regular lexicon this year: social distancing, flattening the curve, outdoor dining, etc. One that I happen to actually be fond of? Zoom jewelry! As many of us continue to work from home and participate in virtual meetings, it remains important to get dressed each day with a purpose. Psychologically, continuing to dress as we normally would can improve our productivity and general attitudes. To add some extra pep, don’t hesitate to add a little something sparkly to your ensemble. The best part of this season’s jewelry trends is that each one is strong enough to stand alone – no need to coordinate other jewelry or accessories.

The simplest way to achieve the look is through a clothing item that doubles as jewelry. On the Fall/Winter NYFW 2020 runways, brands like Bottega Veneta and Rokh featured pieces with metal jewelry and chains built in. Many brands have since taken note, and have found ways to incorporate embellishments on everyday pieces – even your tees get an upgrade with this trend!
