My least favorite thing about winter is that outerwear covers everyone’s looks and a walk down any New York City street will show a sea of black down jackets with fur trims. As much as I love an all weather coat, the personalized statements on Washington St. are great inspiration to take back your winter style.

Faux fur has been brought to new levels of luscious as new resources focus on fashion forward, environmentally minded options. These include both faux options and vintage pieces that are being “recycled”. And what better time to invest outside the box than now, with the end of the season sales.
