Pre-fall fashion. Ever wondered what the it’s all about? Designers release small capsule collections just ahead of fall fashion shows in February that arrive in stores in summer. The deliveries have become more in tune with the summer season so they can be more wear now instead of purchase and store for late September. Once you feel the season starts to turn, it’s the perfect time for something with a hint of fall – enter the need for the pre-fall collections.
One of my favorites is the emergence of casual feathers. Whether the feathers are on your blouse, skirt, purse, or shoe, it’s a trend that you can’t help but smile at. If you’re feeling a little daring, why not go for it with these adorable textured pieces!

Plaid? For fall? Groundbreaking. But these fresh takes on fall are too amazing to pass up! Wear a plaid dress now with sandals and later with a pair of ankle boots. Or try switching up your usual officewear by throwing a plaid tee under a blazer. Any way you rock it, your printed piece is sure to be eye catching.

For shoes specifically, it’s all about a square-toe. Mules, boots, flats, heels – you name it, there’s an version waiting to be added to your collection. Any pair will look fantastic now with midi dresses and light-wash denim and later in sweater weather.
